Course Requirements
1. Students will need to keep notes from of lectures, discussions, and class activities
2. A composition notebook to be used to take programs lecture notes. This notebook will be frequently checked, at least once every two weeks, and should stay in the classroom and will be average out with the Class Participation grade.
Edgenuity Assignments completion: Students should complete all computer coursework under the supervision of a teacher. The instructor/teacher will be in the lab to assist student on any questions other than Quizzes, Test or Assessment given by the Odyssey system. Student should be taking notes while watching the assigned class videos. Students will be allowed to use their notes during Quizzes, Test and/or Assessments in Edgenuity.
Basic Rules: Student Handbook
1. Treat everyone in the classroom with courtesy and respect. Teacher WILL NOT tolerate any disrespect.
2. Absolutely no eating or drinking of any kind in the classroom.
3. No profane or vulgar language is to be spoken for any reason.
4. Talking or Cheating during Quiz or exam will result in a grade of “0”
5. Come to class with necessary materials.(textbook, notebook, pencil, paper)

Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) Participation Contract
Participation in CAI is a privilege and represents a non-traditional learning experience. There are non-traditional expectations for students enrolled in CAI.
As a student enrolled in CAI, I am aware that in addition to the policies and requirements of the EPISD Student Code of Conduct and the EPISD Acceptable Use Agreement, I am expected to comply with the following standards:
Failure to comply with the above listed requirements will result in the following consequences being applied:
First Offense: Student will be given a warning and/or parents will be notified.
Second Offense: Student will be referred to school administration, at which point he/she may be removed from CAI.
Severe Misconduct: Student may be removed from CAI and barred from future CAI classes whether or not this is a first or second offense. School district personnel will be the sole judge of what constitutes severe misconduct.
In addition to school and district requirements, the student will be required to complete a final Edgenuity exam before he/she receives credit for a class. Additionally, if the student is enrolled in online coursework for a course that requires an end-of-course (EOC) exam, the student must successfully complete the EOC exam to meet graduation requirements.

- I understand that teachers may monitor and retrieve student work, data usage, online activity, attendance, etc. at anytime. Cheating may result in the loss of my privilege to participate in CAI, loss of credit, and/or student disciplinary action.
- I will complete all CAI coursework for which I am assigned a class. Completing quizzes, tests, and coursework outside of the assigned period, outside of school hours is permitted. Tests are opened by the teacher for students to work on outside of school hours.
- I understand that disruptive or off-task behavior may result in my being removed from CAI.
